| Dr. Sniffen has a unique background of working in extension,
the feed industry and academia. His academic career, of over 30
years, was involved in teaching and research as well as extension,
working with the dairy industry.
His research focused on protein and amino acid nutrition of dairy
cattle. Charlie is part of the development team, since its beginnings
at Cornell, of CNCPS and CPM Dairy nutrition models. He also was
one of the primary authors of the Spartan Dairy model 2.0. He has
been actively involved in consulting with the feed industry, producers
and suppliers.
He has extensive experience in working with the feed industry and
producers in Japan. Charlie has been a speaker at many conferences
in North America, Europe and Japan. He has been, for the last ten
years, the President of the Miner Institute, an Institution dedicated
to dairy research and outreach activities with undergraduates, feed
industry and producer
