Experience:
John is an agricultural science graduate of Massey University who
later studied agribusiness at Monash University. He has hands on
experience with medium (several hundred) and large scale dairy farming
(more than 1000 cows) in temperate and tropical environments. He
has both farmed and acted as a farm adviser in New Zealand and in
the tropics. John’s experiences include year round and seasonal
production on pasture based dairy - temperate and tropical. He has
been involved in farm and pasture development in temperate and tropical
environments and was integral to the development of a number of
large dairy developments. He has been a senior manager in Northland
Dairy Co-operative
His extensive consultancy experience includes;

John has also interests in the farm forestry of Pinus radiate and
recently established New Zealand’s largest Dairy Goat enterprise.

to provide innovative and practical solutions when demanded by unusual
farming circumstances or requirements. He is a strategic thinker
and his skills in business analysis are well regarded.
