| Dr. Knoblauch is Professor of Farm Business Management
in the Department of Applied Economics and Management, College of
Agriculture and Life Sciences at Cornell University.
Professor Knoblauch has been a member of the faculty at Cornell
University for 28 years where he has a three-way appointment in
the area of dairy farm management.
He teaches undergraduate courses in Farm Business Management and
advises undergraduate and graduate students. He is the Faculty Director
of the NYFarmNet and NYFarmlink programs. These programs counsel
farmers and farm families that experience financial and family relationship
problems, as well as being of assistance to beginning farmers and
those farmers starting joint ventures or mergers. He is also the
Director of the NY Dairy Farm Business Summary and Analysis program.
This program analyzes the production and financial performance of
200 to 300 participating dairy farms annually. Professor Knoblauch
also conducts research on dairy farm issues. His most recent work
with Hanchar and Milligan is entitled "Constraining Phosphorus
in Surface Waters of the NY City Watershed: Dairy Farm Resource
Use and Profitability" as published in the Agricultural and
Resource Economics Review.
Dr. Knoblauch has extensive consulting experience in product liability
and service liability litigation for agribusiness and farmers. His
expertise is widespread in farm management, but focuses on business
analysis and economic decision making.
